Celia Holtzer Scholarship

Celia Holtzer Scholarship for Gifted Artists from the Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst e.V. to the Staatliche Zeichenakademie Hanau
Through an inheritance from Mrs. Jeanne Sybill Wallman Holtzer (Philadelphia, USA), wife of the late Dr. Howard Holtzer, the Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst has received funds for the annual awarding of two scholarships to students of the Staatliche Zeichenakademie. The scholarships are awarded in memory of Dr. Holtzer's daughter Celia Holtzer, who died young and was herself a student at the Staatliche Zeichenakademie for a short time in 1989.

Purpose and nature of the scholarship
The Celia Holtzer Scholarship is an annual award of two scholarships to talented students at the Staatliche Zeichenakademie Hanau. The scholarship is aimed at students graduating in the current school year. The financial support is intended to enable the recipients to devote themselves to a personal design project as part of a guest semester following their training at the Staatliche Zeichenakademie.
