Friedrich Becker Prize Düsseldorf
With the handing over of the Friedrich Becker Prize, which was founded by Hildegard Becker, the Association for Goldsmiths’ Art intends to uphold the cherished memory of the great designer Friedrich Becker (1922–1997) and distinguish a successor generation of designers entirely in his spirit.
The Friedrich Becker Prize is worth € 10,000 and has been awarded by the Association for Goldsmiths’ Art for outstanding independent design of exquisite quality of execution every three years since 1999.

Silvertriennal International
The Silver Triennial International has been held by the Association for Goldsmiths’ Art (Gesellschaft für Goldschmiedekunst) and the Deutsches Goldschmiedehaus Hanau for the promotion of contemporary silversmiths’ art every three years since 1965. Held both within Germany and abroad, the Silver Triennial has become a globally recognized exhibition series.
